After the transfer of your digital photo onto canvas, the canvas will be wrapped carefully and tightly around the edges of the stretchers and be stapled on the reverse (gallery wrap). Thus, the image covers the frame edges completely. This is the preferred finish, as it does not require further framing. This manufacturing method effectuates a loss of 3 to 5 percent in the border area of the original motif. (please see chart).
When selecting a photo to upload, please pay attention that there are no important picture elements (e.g. head of a person) within the border area!
Relation between resolution and XXL canvas format
The higher the resolution of your digital photo, the better will be the final quality of your XXL Canvas Photo. The larger the format of the XXL Canvas Photo, the higher should be the resolution of your digital photo to achieve an optimal result.
